Beetnic makes it easy to express yourself, connect with friends and make new ones, but please remember that what you post publicly could embarrass you or expose you to danger. Here are some common sense guidelines that you should follow when using Beetnic:
1.Don't forget that your Beeprofile and Beetnic forums are public spaces.
Don't post anything you wouldn't want the world to know. Avoid posting anything that would make it easy for a stranger to find you, such as where you hang out every day after school.
2.People aren't always who they say they are. Be careful about adding strangers to your friends list.
It's fun to connect with new Beetnic friends from all over the world, but avoid meeting people in person whom you do not fully know. If you must meet someone, do it in a public place and bring a friend or trusted adult with you.
3.Harassment, hate speech and inappropriate content should be reported.
If you feel someone's behavior is inappropriate, react. Talk with a trusted adult, or report it to Beetnic or the authorities.
4.Don't post anything that would embarrass you later.
Think twice before posting a photo or an info you wouldn't want your parents or boss to see!
5.Don't mislead people into thinking that you're older or younger.
If you are under 14 and pretend to be older, customer service will delete your profile. If you are over 18 and pretend to be a teenager to contact underage users, customer service will delete your profile. In order for everyone to be able to enjoy Beetnic, you must take into account that there are several rules that you must obey. The following acts are prohibited by law and, thus, subject to punishment:
6.Slanders, defamations, stalking, insults, the abuse of Insults, the abuse of someone's name or picture are forbidden on Beetnic.
It is strictly forbidden to publish messages or pictures with damages, threats, lies, defamation, rancor, aggressiveness, racism, vulgarity, denigration, indecency, insults, violence, obscenity or pornographic contents. It's also forbidden to use the website for commercial purposes.
7.Racism, xenophobia, negationism and discrimination (prison sentences).
Racist remarks and pictures are forbidden.Discrimination based on gender, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation are forbidden.
8.Public offenses, publishing sexually suggestive pictures, pedophilia. Public offenses, offering prostitution or escorting services and implicit or explicit invitations for sexual activities.
Uploading pornographic, sexually suggestive or openly erotic photos/texts is forbidden.. Humoristic or caricatural pictures can be an exception, as long as the humoristic aspect is predominant. Invitations for sexual activities in public or by private messages are also prohibited.
9.Violation of intellectual properties.
On Beetnic, you can only publish content that is yours. Beetnic can't be held liable if you do publish pictures or texts which are not yours. Beetnic will impose sanctions when the abuse is known.
10.Disturbing the public order on the web site.
Spamming, recruiting votes, sending unsolicited commercials or collar letters, in private or public messages, unlawfully reloading pages, flooding, can be prosecuted.
11.Beetnic or the account of a Beetnic member is prohibited and punishable.
In this situation, we always alert the police, as we also do when you're a minor. By committing such offenses, you risk a prison sentence and/or monetary fine. Potential violations of this User conduct terms must be reported by using the "Report Abuse" button. If we determine that the reported content is illegal or violates our policies, we may immediately remove it.
