British Deep Sea Controller DSE7420
Mains failure (AMF) module

DSE7420 is a mains failure (AMF) module, widely used in single diesel engine or natural gas engine, generator set. The module can monitor a large number of engine parameters. The DSE7410 will display alarm, shutdown and engine status information on the LCD screen, the LED indicator will light up, sound alarms will be issued, and text message alerts will be sent via SMS. The module includes dedicated terminals for RS232, RS485 and Ethernet interfaces, as well as system function expansion.
DSE7400 series modules have two types of CAN and MPU, providing various flexible input, output and engine protection functions, so that the system can easily meet the most demanding parallel requirements.
The module can be set by deep-sea software, or by front-panel editing.

Mains failure self-starting and instrument control module (supports EFI engine) The DSE8620 is an Auto Mains (Utility) Failure Control Module suitable for paralleling single gensets (diesel or gas) with the mains (utility) supply. The module will automatically start the generator on detection of a mains failure, and will control the switchover from and back to the mains (utility) supply, offering an uninterrupted return.
The modules synchronising functions include automatic synchronising with built-in synchroscope and closing onto dead bus. Direct and flexible outputs from the module are provided to allow connection to the most commonly used speed governors and automatic voltage regulators (AVRs).
A sophisticated module monitoring an extensive number of engine parameters, the DSE8620 will annunciate warnings, shutdown and engine status information on the back-lit LCD screen, illuminated LED, remote PC, audible alarm and via SMS text alerts. The module includes RS232 and RS485 ports as well as dedicated terminals for system expansion.
The DSE8620 is compatible with electronic (CAN) and non-electronic (magnetic pick-up / alternator sensing) engines and offers a comprehensive number of flexible inputs, outputs and extensive engine protections so the system can be easily adapted to meet the most demanding industry paralleling requirements.
The modules can be easily configured using the DSE8600 PC software. Selected front panel editing is also available.
