Detection of Mitsubishi S6R engine during operation
When grinding and running, pay attention to the following items and confirm that there is no abnormal phenomenon.
Oil 圧, oil temperature
Cooling water temperature and water capacity
Oil leakage, water leakage, air leakage, especially the installation place of the oil pipe of the turbocharger
Sound and vibration
Intake pressure, inlet temperature
Exhaust color, odor
Exhaust gas temperature
Left and right cylinders are not consistent
Oil mist gas (amount, color)
End face runout and radial runout of the rotating part
Instrument and alarm display and action
2.3.3 Detection and adjustment after running-in
Mitsubishi S6R engine valve clearance
Fuel injection timing
Tighten bolts and nuts on the periphery
Tensioning force of Mitsubishi S6R engine belt
Investigation and repair of oil leakage and other abnormalities
3. Test and adjustment of Mitsubishi S6R engine
(a) Testing, adjustment, and sealing of Mitsubishi S6R engines are allowed only at the repair facility designated by our company.
When the seal is implemented outside the maintenance factory designated by our company, an application for a contract for testing, adjustment and seal operation of the seal operation shall be submitted to the maintenance factory designated by our company.
(b) Performance testing and adjustment of the engine should be implemented after the engine has been fully warmed up and the water and oil temperatures have stabilized.
After the running-in operation is completed and normal operation can be performed, the performance and function of the engine are checked and adjusted.
Be sure to record the test results and compare them with the factory data.

Setting of no load minimum speed (low idling)

3.5 Mitsubishi S6R Engine Fuel Maximum Fuel Injection Setting
(1) The rack at the front end (front side) of the fuel injection pump rack is set to remove the end cap, and the rated (maximum) load is applied.
(2) Tighten the nut at the position where the double nut on the front end of the rack comes into contact with the end face of the spring case.
After all performance inspections and adjustments are completed, the engine is stopped, and a prescribed portion is sealed between the governor actuator and the fuel pump rack.
3.6.1 Disassembly anti-tamper protection
The tamper-resistant protection nut has a double structure and cannot be removed by simple rotation. When removing, the cylindrical outer nut must be cut and destroyed before the inner nut can be removed.
3.6.2 Installation of tamper protection
Tighten the tamper-proof protective nut in accordance with the specified torque, and confirm that the inner nut is cut off.
