(1) Remove the positioning bolts from the side of the Mitsubishi S12 diesel engine block, and remove the camshaft bushing of the Mitsubishi S12 diesel engine.

(2) After the positioning bolt holes of the Mitsubishi S12 diesel engine cylinder block are aligned with the positioning bolt holes of the Mitsubishi S12 diesel engine camshaft bushing, install the Mitsubishi S12 diesel engine camshaft bushing and fix it with the positioning bolts.

(2) Using the mounting end of the idle gear bushing removal tool, press the Mitsubishi S12 diesel engine fan driver idle gear bushing from the large gear end to the end face of the gear hub flush. Then use the removal end of the idle gear bushing removal tool to press the end face of the bushing to about 1 mm below the end face of the gear hub.

(3) Reaming the inner diameter of the idler idler gear bushing of the Mitsubishi S12 diesel engine fan driver after the press-in, the machining dimensions are shown in the figure. Note: The Mitsubishi S12 diesel engine fan drive idler bushing is provided in a semi-finished state, so it must be reamed after pressing.

3.7 Replace front idler gear bushing

(1) Use the removal end of the idler bushing removal tool to remove the front idler bushing.

(2) Using the mounting end of the idler bushing removal tool, press in from the chamfered end face of 1mm, and press the front idler bushing until the end face of the gear hub is flush. Then use the removal end of the idle gear bushing removal tool to press the end face of the bushing to about 1 mm below the end face of the gear hub.

(3) Reaming the inner diameter of the front idler gear bush after pressing in. The machining dimensions are shown in the figure.

Note: The front idler gear bushing is provided in a semi-finished state, so reaming must be performed after pressing.
