Inspection and repair of Mitsubishi S12 diesel engine crankshaft

5.1 Measuring the deformation of the upper surface of the Mitsubishi S12 diesel engine block

The grinding amount of the Mitsubishi S12 diesel engine block is small, and it should be controlled to a minimum. After the grinding amount of the Mitsubishi S12 diesel engine cylinder is increased, it will cause uneven combustion of the Mitsubishi S12 diesel engine, and the Mitsubishi S12 diesel engine's piston and valve collision will occur.

A ruler is placed on the upper surface of the Mitsubishi S12 diesel engine cylinder block, and the amount of deformation is measured with a thickness gauge. 5.3 Inspection of Mitsubishi S12 Diesel Engine Cylinder Liner Mounting Parts

Be careful not to change the radius of the chamfered end of the journal and the journal width during grinding. For the Mitsubishi S12 diesel engine crankshaft with significantly reduced surface hardness, heat treatment and magnetic inspection are performed. After grinding, measure the crankpin journal width and the journal width of the rearmost Mitsubishi S12 diesel engine crank journal.

5.6 Measure the width of the crankpin journal and the journal width of the rearmost Mitsubishi S12 diesel engine crankshaft journal

(1) Check that the shaft outer surface of the crankshaft of Mitsubishi S12 diesel engine is free from harmful damage and wear.

(2) Measure the journal width of the crank pin and the crankshaft journal of the Mitsubishi S12 diesel engine at the rear end. Grind the Mitsubishi S12 diesel engine crankshaft in accordance with the size of the Mitsubishi S12 diesel engine thrust plate according to the wear of the neck width of the Mitsubishi S12 diesel engine crankshaft.

5.6.1 Grinding of the journal width of the crankshaft journal of the Mitsubishi S12 diesel engine at the rear end

When using the oversized Mitsubishi S12 diesel engine thrust piece, grind the Mitsubishi S12 diesel engine crankshaft according to the standard value corresponding to the use of the oversized Mitsubishi S12 diesel engine thrust piece.

When adjusting the axial clearance, the amount of grinding of the Mitsubishi S12 diesel engine crankshaft can be minimized.

5.16 Inspection of Mitsubishi S12 Diesel Engine Piston Cooling Injector

When the lubricating oil output pipe of the Mitsubishi S12 diesel engine piston cooling nozzle is bent or deformed, the piston of the Mitsubishi S12 diesel engine may be burnt due to insufficient cooling.
