5.1 Assembly of Mitsubishi R16 Diesel Engine Cylinder Head

(a) When inserting the Mitsubishi R16 diesel engine valve stem seal into the valve, take care not to damage the lip of the Mitsubishi R16 diesel engine valve stem seal.

(b) Do not apply oil or liquid seals to the assembly parts of the Mitsubishi R16 diesel engine's valve stem seal and valve duct.

(c) Mitsubishi R16 diesel engine valve stem seal must be new. Mitsubishi diesel oil seals can no longer be used.

(d) When using an exhaust double Mitsubishi R16 diesel engine valve spring, install the lower spring seat before installing the Mitsubishi R16 diesel engine valve stem seal.

(1) Apply grease to the valve stem portion of the valve, and insert the valve into the valve tube.

(2) Install the lower spring seat on the valve duct on the exhaust side. (Double Mitsubishi R16 diesel engine valve spring specifications only)

(3) Insert the Mitsubishi R16 diesel engine valve stem into the valve duct using the duct and the seal installer.

Note: When installing the air valve seal, first install the air valve and press it in with the valve stem extended.

(4) Apply grease to the lip of the valve stem seal of the Mitsubishi R16 diesel engine.

(5) Install a spring seat, a Mitsubishi R16 diesel engine gas valve spring, and a rotating end cover on the valve duct, and use a Mitsubishi R16 diesel engine gas valve spring remover to install the 卡 -shaped ferrule of the gas valve.

Note: For the specifications of the double Mitsubishi R16 diesel engine air valve spring, the components on the intake side and the exhaust side are different. Be careful not to install them incorrectly.

5.2 Detection of air valve sinking

5.5 Installing Mitsubishi R16 Diesel Engine Cylinder Head Gasket

(1) Remove the oil from under the cylinder head of Mitsubishi R16 diesel engine and on the block of Mitsubishi R16 diesel engine.

5.6 Installing Mitsubishi R16 Diesel Engine Cylinder Head Assembly
