1) NTA855 engine oil cooler adopts tube bundle type, placed on the engine exhaust pipe side, and consists of cooler core, housing, front cover, rear cover, O-ring seal, etc. The BC1 engine cooler is equipped with a pressure regulating valve, and the BC3 engine cooler is equipped with a thermostat to achieve a constant oil temperature (100--110 ℃).
2) NT855 oil cooler
Cummins KTA engine uses built-in plate wing type, placed in the engine water channel cavity. The difference between inline and V-shaped models is that the inline oil cooler core is placed in the side waterway cavity of the body, and the V-shaped oil cooler The core is placed in the water channel cavity in the middle of the V-shaped body. ) The M11 engine uses an integrated tube bundle cooler and is placed on the engine exhaust pipe side.
Note for oil cooler:
1. Blockage in the oil cooler tube bundle or plate fins will prevent heat from being transmitted from the oil to the cooling water.
2. If the assembly mark of the tube bundle oil cooler core is not aligned with the assembly mark (O) of the cooler body during assembly, the oil will not be able to make full contact with the outer surface of the tube bundle, and the cooling effect of the oil will not be guaranteed.
Cummins oil pump: Gear pumps are used on Cummins engines to provide pressure to the lubrication system
1) The N engine oil pump is installed at the front end of the body of the PT pump. It is a single-stage gear pump equipped with a high-pressure bypass valve. The oil pump is driven by the engine transmission gear train.
2) The K60 and M11 engine oil pumps are installed in the gear room at the front of the body. The K60 oil pump is equipped with a pressure regulating valve and is driven by the engine transmission gear train.
3) The KV engine oil pump is installed in the oil pan of the lower part of the engine. It is a two-pole gear pump driven by a ring gear embedded in the rear section of the crankshaft.
Cummins diesel engine oil pump cooler working principle and maintenance analysis:
The function of Cummins oil cooler is to control the temperature of the oil, ensure the good lubrication of Cummins diesel engine, and avoid the occurrence of malfunction caused by excessive oil temperature.
(1) The oil pressure is too low: the friction surface cannot be sufficiently and reliably lubricated, which not only increases friction and wear, but also causes serious accidents such as burning of the bearing bushes and scratching of the cylinder wall.
The main reasons for the low oil pressure are:
① The oil pressure gauge is damaged or the oil pipeline is not smooth. Replace the pressure gauge or clean and clear the pipeline.
② The oil level in the oil pan is low or the oil quality is too thin. Add oil to the center line of the oil scale, check the oil brand, replace the qualified and high-quality lubricating oil, and check whether it is diluted by the fuel. If the fuel is mixed, immediately perform a fault check. .
③ The oil is too dirty or has been used for too long and fails. Replace with new oil, clean the oil pan, and replace the oil filter core.
④ Oil pump pressure limiting valve or oil filter pressure regulating valve spring is stuck or the spring is soft or broken. The oil pump pressure limiting valve is installed at the bottom of the cylinder. When it leaves the factory, its pressure is adjusted to the specified value, and the pressure limiting valve opens to drain. , Protect the oil pump from high pressure damage.
⑤ The filter screen or oil filter core is blocked. Clean the filter and replace the oil filter core.
⑥ The oil pump gear is loose, the main driven gear is worn or the seal ring is damaged. Tighten the oil pump gear. If it is worn, you must replace the main driven gear. Replace the oil pump seal.
⑦The clearance between the crankshaft main bearing and the connecting rod bearing is too large. Check and replace the bearing bush.
温度 The temperature of the oil is too high, the temperature of the oil is too high, the viscosity of the oil is reduced, the leakage is increased, and the pressure is low. At this time, the items are excluded according to the method of high oil temperature.
润滑油 The lubricating nipple of the gear room has fallen off or is missing. Check for replacement or installation.
