Perkins 1200 series of new 1206F engines provide customers with a complete power solution, ready for the equipment to transition to the next emission stage, including the EU stage V and US Tier 4 final emission standards to be implemented in 2014. These engines not only provide specific output power, but also have a large number of different configurations and options for customers to choose from. The precise technology used in the engine allows our customers engaged in OEM manufacturing to easily integrate these powertrains into the applications they produce without the need for extensive redesign.

Each model of the 1206F is a 6-cylinder engine with air-to-air cooling and a 7-liter displacement. It can be equipped with a single-stage turbocharger or a tandem double-stage turbocharger with an output of up to 225kW (301 8hp). The engine's high power density, combined with its excellent torque, has allowed design and manufacturers who previously had to use larger cylinder volumes to switch to this model. Reducing the size of the body will not only help save costs, but also make it easier to free up more space for the newly designed post-processing system.
